Your safari adventure begins today! You will be picked up by our driver from your hotel in Zanzibar and driven to the airport for your flight to Arusha Airport. You will fly for an hour in a small plane to Arusha.
Your guide will pick you up from Arusha Airport and drive for 2 hours to Tarangire National Park. The park is well-known for its large elephant herds and abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent).
From the open roof of the vehicle, you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and Tarangire River which is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs and elephants. Later, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you proceed via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area traversing the Malanja Depression towards Serengeti one of the most famous wildlife conservation areas in the world. First, you will make a brief stop at the Naabi Hill Gate where you can go for a short walk at the Naabi Hill Kopjes (huge granite boulders) where you can stretch your legs as your guide sorts out the paperwork. After lunch, at the picnic site at the gate, you continue on game drives all afternoon at the vast Serengeti National Park, named after the ancient Masai word ‘Siringet’, which translates to ‘endless plains’. Truly the plains are endless indeed. Overnight at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp but if you opt for a Camping safari you sleep at Seronera Campsite

Early morning game drives at Serengeti and visit the hippo pools and Seronera Visitor’s Center if you wish. After a hearty breakfast in the bush camp, you will then proceed with your game drives in the Serengeti backtracking towards Naabi Hill Gate again until early afternoon time to cross over back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you reach your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Overnight will be back at the nice mid-range lodge in Ang’ata or Rhino Lodge or if you opt for a Camping safari you will overnight at Simba Campsite

After an early breakfast, You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports avast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater.
A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late afternoon transfer to Arusha For dinner and Overnight or airport drop off to Zanzibar . ( Accommodation can be included upon request at extra cost )
